Dezi 5 Live in Concert in NYC’s Lower Eastside 3/10

Dezi 5 is headed to the New York City music scene starting in the Lower East Side. Dallas’ “Best Live Act” will be performing live in concert at the Leftfield NYC on March 10, 2017 at 9:00pm. Not new to performing in New York City, he already had two performances in 2016. The announcement came from Dezi himself on Twitter, where he wrote, “Dezi takes on NYC at Leftfield NYC.” As a New York resident, Dezi 5 will bring his crucifixion to the Big Apple.

On January 24, 2017 Dezi 5 released the single “ExposeYou” which is available on all major streaming sites. Dezi 5’s new music video for “Expose You” is almost brazen in its quest to divert your attention. The time was right for Dezi 5 to make this move as he has never released a music video. The video was directed by Dallas artist Jeremy Biggers. “Expose You” was totally a personal way for him to express his feelings as an artist and human being in the world of hypocrisy.

In 2015 he released his first EP “Crucifixion on the DanceFloor” which brilliantly re-invents dance music for our time. It is a stunning creative leap into dimensions of EDM, elements of “trap”, future disc, and 90’s house music. Crucifixion on the Dance Floor features Dezi’s debut single “LOSE CONTROL”, an unapologetic club joint and “Dallas, Bitch!” a city anthem that earned me a ranking in the Dallas Observer’s top 20 songs of 2015 alongside Erykah Badu, Post Malone and Leon Bridges. COTDF establishes Dezi 5’s place in the dance clubs and fashion runways. It’s a mesmerizing sound that evokes embellishments and excitement, energy and innovation.

Dezi is a superstar with incredible showmanship and a persona larger than life. His performances earned him a Dallas Observer Music Award as “Best Live Act” (voted by the city) He is currently working on his first full length album; in the meantime he will be introducing “Crucifixion on the Dance Floor” to the Big Apple.

This song goes out to the Kim Burrells of the world who claim to accept homosexuality, but condemns them to their made up vision of HELL. I have to EXPOSE the straight man who sleeps with men but talks shit about homosexuals. I want to also EXPOSE all fake people who call themselves my friend or who claim to like my music, but talk bad about me to others……. yeah I sound petty but I’m human. People have been EXPOSING me my entire life it’s time for to EXPOSE YOU.”
